2018 the flying Marionettes presents: a night at the movies

December 15, 2019 This is my 5 th performance. My song was "Hold me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me Kill Me." The theme from Batman Forever by U2. So listen. The theme for this show was movies. My kiddo and I loved Batman Forever and this song is kicking. I wanted to mix in Liberace with a conflicted Batman.  The story goes.. Batman loves the red carpet but is just tired of all the work fighting crime.  So much conflict from an extra crime fighter.  Costuming was really important. The cape was to homage Liberace the most EXTRA human on the planet. I love the makeup.  For me, bringing this piece to life was a very wonderful part of this piece.  My choreographers were Kirstie and Holly Merlot.  The other thing about this, I committed to tricks. I had to focus in and learn to do the tricks in this piece. It's not simple for me so I'm feeling super accomplished. I really, love this piece for me.
